THE RUINS
The plan was to meet at the ruins, but they were three days late and Sandy waited. She was ready for her paradise – but old Sammy was never to be trusted and Lenny was a lonestar with no spine to hold him straight. When they finally arrived, so did their future. Maybe next time, they’ll have it all.

INSPIRED BY
This film was a class assignment hijacked by serious inspiration. After loosing a location, we stumbled upon another location in the high dessert. And with this, came Mark Ogden and Mike Taddeo, two local men – vital, verbal, smart and willing to play...in the film. We scrapped old ideas and made a new version of The Ruins in response. This was my first experience working with non-actors – a joy, a challenge and not for ruin. Thanks to the whole team who made it happen!

And here’s the line up:

Caterwaul by Ian Samuels, 13:25
Hey by Anantha Perumal, 1:25
A Time in a Dark Cloud by Rebecca Sgan-Cohen, 12:00
The Ruins by Martha Williams, 9:30
circa 1995 by Nick Flessa, 2:50
Pearl Was Here by Kate Marks, 8:46
The Mark by Amy Young, 11:50
Miguel Alvarez Wears a Wig by Araceli Lemos, 16:00
Le Souffle Court by Guillame Legrand, 20:00
Composting toilets, biogas, water filtration!

Check out the videos I just completed for Sharon Davis Design this summer.

Each video covers a sustainable design element used in the construction of the Rwanda Women for Women's Center in Kayonza, Rwanda. These include water filtration, biogas digesters and composting toilets.

I see a sustainability revolution in the works!
